This Week at Grit & Grace

It has been a full week of conversations, creativity, and sharing what God has carried me through. I was honored to appear on two different podcasts, published a personal story about how painting helped me find my voice, and spent a little time behind the scenes working on what comes next.

My Conversation on Living Proof

I joined Larry C. for an open conversation about addiction, recovery, faith, mental health, and the experiences that have shaped my life and ministry. We also talked about the purpose behind Grit and Grace and the power of sharing our stories so others know they are not alone.

How are you today, God?

I joined Matthew Butler on Martyria for an open conversation about my testimony, my relationship with God, and His faithfulness through the hardest chapters of my life.

My Life in the Studio

Painting Behind the Scenes

What began with painting rocks during a difficult season of recovery became a lasting way for me to process, create, and reconnect with parts of myself I could not always explain. In this personal post, I share how painting became part of my healing—and some of the supplies that have helped me along the way.

Behind the Scenes

at Grit and Grace

This is what life looks like behind the microphone. Some days I’m preparing content for the podcast, writing the weekly blog, recording an episode, or sitting in the studio editing everything together. Other days, BamBam and I are doing a Bible study on TikTok Live—or turning up the music and doing a little karaoke.

Josh is often part of the process too. He joins me for episodes, helps with the website, troubleshoots equipment, and keeps things running when technology decides to test my sanctification.

Every picture and video here offers a small glimpse into the work, laughter, faith, family, and occasional chaos that go into creating Grit and Grace.
